The Mermaid Wessex rig is an extremely adaptable unclipped rig, a combination of a standard paternoster and running ledger, this rig is capable of landing larger species when hunting for Conger bass or cod and is equally suitable for mini species. The upper snood is easily adjustable to suit species or conditions and the Lower running ledger will allow you to take the larger species with ease. Totally adjustable, this rig is ideal from shore or boat.
