The Mermaid Sheppey rig may look like a complex rig but it is in fact a series of linked Pulley rigs. This rig can be very useful in venue where there is very little or no tidal movement, when a fish takes one of the baits, it pulls the other snoods up increasing the movement of the baits, increasing the chances of other fish falling for the bait. This rig is one of the match fishermans favourite rigs and can be used for targeting shoaling Whiting & Flatfish.
