The Mermaid flounder plaice trace rig is an adaptable
single hook rig supplied with a spoon and beads to act as attractants for flatties, as they are primarily sight feeders.

The main method of using this rig are from a boat on the drift (downtide when there is a good tide running). This rig can also be used from harbour walls and Estuaries where it has been proven to be very effective.
