The Mermaid Killer rig is one of our more popular rigs in our boat rig range especially forwrecking. Essentially this is a Wessex rig with long lower snood and shorter upper snood fitted with a Muppet on to a size 5/0 hook. A zip slider is used for attaching the lead.

The snoods are removable without taking the rig body off your mainline, which will give you a baited hook back in the water and fishing while you deal with your catch.
