Free Running Snood Rig

The Mermaid free running snood rig has been
designed to allow the fish to bolt and then be pulled
up sharp against the weight, giving good bite indication. As a long distance casting rig it is particularly good for Cod. A Breakaway Impact shield (Bait Clip) for reliable release of the bait is used.A simple hook over system which physically ejects the baited hook on impact with the water.
