The Mermaid DVice ledger running rig is a version of this popular rig, that in combination with the DVice allows a particularly long snood to be used with guaranteed ejection.

This method has allowed for many Sea Bass on live Sand Eel. Many large fish are taken with this rig including Cod, Smoothhound and Ray.
